The Guthrie's 50th Anniversary (aka the most beautiful building)

The Guthrie Theater celebrated its 50th Anniversary and I was lucky to attend the Community Celebration Day. I'll always remember this marvelous event. The modern architecture, views of the city from the Guthrie, all the costumes, and backstage tour was truly spectacular.

Target did such an excellent job--from the delicious lemonade, water stations, entertainment, prop photo area, candy buffet station, cake pops, all the red and white flowers/decorations, etc.

Happy 50th Anniversary to the Guthrie Theater! Enough of my rambling onto the pictures.

Open Streets 2013

One of the best days thus far.

I wish I brought my water bottle since it was pretty hot and there were water stations to refill bottles. But a huge thanks to Pizza Luce for the free water (sorry you didn't have power, such a bummer, open streets would have brought a lot of business). Thanks Izzy's Ice Cream for the cutest mini ice cream cone sample--it was perfect!
